Featured Person from Cleveland

The three-way traffic signal and the prototype for the modern-day gas mask are just a few inventions of this dope human being who spent most of his adult life in Cleveland. Although he was born in Kentucky, the world came to know his greatness while he was living in Cleveland. He and his brother heroically saved people from a natural gas explosion, he invented a hair straightening cream, and started what many of us know as the “Call and Post” newspaper.
