Featured Person From Cleveland - Mike Chapman, Senior Partner, Management Consulting

Recently, I had the distinct pleasure of speaking with our Featured Person From Cleveland - Mike Chapman. Mike is a senior partner and media and entertainment practice leader at Kearney, at global management consulting firm. Mike has decades of consulting experience across industries such as media and entertainment and telecommunications, among many others. He previously worked as a managing director at Accenture, formerly known as Andersen Consulting. Early on, Mike made his mark on the music industry as a producer, engineer, and songwriter. He was educated in Cleveland, Ohio from Shaker Heights School District (where he started a band) through graduate school at Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management. For those of a certain age, you may remember Mike from his days as a DJ on Cleveland radio stations Power 108 WDMT and 93 FM WZAK. I, for one, used to love listening to Clubstyle back in the day. We took a little walk down memory lane discussing Cleveland radio and his involvement with many Cleveland-based acts, as well as other musicians. Mike pivoted to management consulting and is one of only a few Black men to achieve his level of success in the profession.
