Our Featured Person from Cleveland is Kim Phillips Nickerson. Kim is a Cleveland-born architect who owns and operates her own architectural design firm KN Designs in Dallas, Texas. Kim is a graduate of Shaker Heights High School and is a rare gem in a profession in which a little over 2% are Black. During our conversation, we talk about growing up in Cleveland, how she took interest in architecture and design at an early age, and the path that led to her becoming a rock star in residential architecture and remodeling.
